That "professor" is a figment of his own imagination. "Justice" has been replaced with "Go along to get along", and it did not happen quickly, nor without a well planned strategy, implemented over many years, beginning with student indoctrination in kindergarten. Nice shot at suggesting to the "old guard" that core values are still alive and well in US education (And politics) - - That ship has sailed - - - No sale. - - Proof? Why is Mitch McConnell still leading the "Conservative" element of the US Senate, when he has done everything in his considerable power to destroy the Republic?

There's another reason for why no one in the classroom protested the injustice!!

They have been taught, their entire lives, to respect and obey someone in a perceived position of "authority"!!

As children, we literally "look up" to adults who are more knowledgeable and physically powerful than we are and ... who enhance their power with punishments and rewards!! So, we learn to obey the more powerful person!!

Very few of us are taught to trust and develop our own powers of "critical thinking"!! We, therefor, are at the mercy of anyone who wants to deceive us!!

If you are never taught how to block or avoid a punch (and perhaps perform a counter-punch)... then you are at the mercy of anyone who wants to punch you!!!

this is an excellent outline of questions to be asked about this case, and the link to turley's analysis is helpful. i have two critical remarks:

1. you asked if this is 'selective prosecution.' selective prosecution is not unlawful, and is not considered unfair. it is, in essence, what prosecutors do. prosecutors decide what kinds of crimes to prosecute and not prosecute, and where they find crimes, who to prosecute and not prosecute. no law requires prosecutors to prosecute all crimes they detect, or even all crimes they believe they can get a conviction on. likewise, no law requires prosecutors to treat all suspects or defendants equally. they can legitimately discriminate among defendants for many reasons, including a history of offenses, perceived badness, and public perceptions and the effect on crime of prosecuting one defendant rather than another

one thing that prosecutors cannot do is discriminate on the basis of malice. generally this means a case was brought i) without probable cause, ii) motivated by hatred or dislike of the defendant unrelated to the alleged crimes, and iii) the case is resolved in the defendant's favor, including the result of any appeals

as to the first element, there never seemed to be any legal basis for these charges, which you and turley have already covered. in essence, these were made-up crimes invented for the sole purpose of influencing the next presidential election. as to the second element, as you pointed out, prosecutors ran their election campaigns on a get-trump agenda. the idea was if you elect me i will do stuff to trump that will make it hard for him to get reelected. that would seem to be malice. and if it's unlawful, it would also be a violation of NY election law 17-152, and possibly, federal election law. as to the third element, it'll be a while before we know the ultimate disposition of this case

2. you asked repeatedly if the process was fair to an american citizen. all persons tried in american courts are guaranteed due process, and you cant maliciously prosecute an illegal alien any more than you can maliciously prosecute an american citizen, because it's not right, and america stands for what's right. all over the world, people are looking at this trial and verdict and saying, see? when politics are in play, whoever's in can weaponize america's courts against whomever's out just like any banana republic. some better questions would be, is it fair? is this how america's courts operate? is this how any court should operate?

When the deep state controls all three branches of our government, what's next? What do we do to stop this judicial travesty and restore and enforce our constitutional rights? With the rigged elections, how is Trump ever going to be re-elected, and I do think he'd win in a landslide if elections were conducted with integrity. How ironic that he was accused of rigging the 2016 election because of a porn star's retracted accusation, when Biden and Hillary and a passel of others take the cake for crooked. What's going to change this? They've already taught us that if we protest any of their true crimes, the FBI could show up at 3 am, our bank accounts can be closed, and we could be thrown in jail to rot. Anyone with a brain could see this whole trial was a sham, and a shameful one. The USA must be the laughing stock of the world.

Donald Trump is the most investigated person in history of the world. Think about that for a moment! He’s been found guilty for nothing! They concocted fraudulent charges! They couldn’t find anything on him and they convicted him on fraudulent misdemeanor which has passed the statute of limitations by five years. The color revolution is what it’s called and that’s where we’re at in America today.!

May God Bless America and The Entire World!

Hi!

Trump's fake trial is a travesty to justice.

I also view it as an interference to the election laws.

What happened to the rule of law?

What happened to a fair trial?

Judges are supposed to be impartial.

Did it happen in this case?

Liars/criminals/thieves are now credible witnesses?

I highly suspect that sentencing in July may be "house arrest" or actual prison to prevent him from campaigning.

If house arrest, then he can use the internet to campaign so this option may NOT suit the "criminals" in this case so it is more likely that he may be jailed.

Why would anyone think differently based on the shenanigans in that court room?

Furthermore, I became a citizen in Maine so I could vote.

I am Canadian born on the French side and spoke NO English upon arrival in Maine at age 3.

My mother was the ONLY one who could speak English so that ensured our survival. My parents arrived in Maine with 3 small children.

None of that stopped me from accomplishing what I wanted.

I have drive and ambition as a "legal" immigrant who overcame obstacles. Not easy but can be done with ambition.

My parents NEVER EVER voted as they both knew they couldn't lawfully as they maintained their Canadian citizenship living in Maine.

My older brother was drafted as a Canadian citizen living in Maine and went to Vietnam. He was given an ultimatum. Become a citizen or go back to Canada. He chose to become a citizen and was transferred to Hawaii and become one. He was later sent back to Vietnam. He came back unharmed. He NEVER protested. He went.

So in closing, I experience this fake trial as another injury to American justice. There have been plenty besides this one.

And all these illegal aliens (not immigrants) entering this country is enough to make my blood boil.

More violations of law - immigration laws.

We were vetted - x-rays were conducted in Montreal, Canada to make sure we didn't have some dreaded disease. A back ground check was done on my parents.

Thank you!

Hi!

When I spoke up regarding an issue about the fake pandemic, I received a letter from the IRS whereby I was being investigated.

Nothing came of it over time.

This is what can potentially happen if one speaks up, or something else may happen, too, such as being murdered in a variety of ways.

Additionally, most Americans do NOT owe any income taxes - see Art. 1, Sec. 8, Clause 17 of the federal constitution.

It was placed in the said constitution to prevention invasion of the various States.

It is a jurisdictional clause.

NO jurisdiction = nothing to address = NO charges brought about.

Courts must adhere to jurisdiction also. If none exist, then the court does NOT have any delegation of authority to hear a case.

Understand what the clauses says and means.

Hi!

And the judge in Trump's case is born in Columbia.

Since he doesn't seem to know the laws in these United States, and acted criminally in this case, then he ought to be deported.

Thank you!

Well done with listing the unfair trial injustices.

This show trial was done for a reason. Was it PR for Trump, to show us that the justice system is not fair, a distraction?

I don't know what to think about our gov anymore, but I do acknowledge it is not a republic as we have been told.

If I had to describe it, I would say all the world is a stage and "they" are all actors for the debased parasites of satan.

God is in control but we should fight against evil until God wipes it from this earth.

The crashing of the website due to the inflow of persons wanting to make contributions to the Trump campaign should give any (if there are any) thinking Democrats pause as to what is coming in November. As chair of the Republican Party here in Alabama could you please publish a physical address for the Trump re-election campaign to which individuals can send donations? I understand it is illegal for county Republican parties to make contribution, as it is one PAC giving to another. However, it is NOT illegal for individuals to make contributions to the candidate of their choice.

I've worked with John Droz since 2010 on national policies for energy, environment, climate change alarmism and the people in government and other positions of power who are working to destroy the modern world.

John Droz has been excellent in all areas.

In this article on Critical Thinking about the Trump trial in New York City, he has hit a new high water mark for impartial excellence.

Congratulations.

Very well done, John. I would only add that the judge in this case is a political hack, an "acting judge" for 21 years or so who just happens to get assigned to Trump cases, who donates to anti-Trump causes, and whose daughter is a Democrat consultant. The daughter also apparently got passes for her clients to be in the courtroom and yet there was no recusal. It's pure NYC corruption of the sort humorously mocked in The 34 Street Miracle courtroom scene. But this isn't funny.
