Thanks for the video. I have been writing for years in obscure places like Facebook and Twitter that the Russia-Ukraine border ought to be returned to it's pre-1954 position, when Khrushchev moved it east to include Crimea and Donbas in Ukraine. That's what the referendum did. That's what the Minsk accord did. Obama torpedoed it.
America has a real advantage over Ukraine. We have been around for just 250 years, but our founders had a very well designed political structure. We have pretty well screwed up our beautiful design by corrupt politicians manipulating the system, but we still have the system and it is supposed to be self-correcting.
Ukraine has nothing of the sort. They have been manipulated unmercifully for a thousand years and other countries think they can take over and do better. That includes our folks who have we been there manipulating. Meanwhile, I think the average Ukrainian just wants to be left alone to make the best life possible for himself. His biggest problem is the politics.
So, what is different right here in the U.S.A.? Thank God we have the ability to figure out how to correct our past mistakes. Hopefully that was set into motion last November. We shall see how that future works out for us.
The article pretty well stated the majority of Ukrainians reject anyone taking away their freedom. That seems to me to be a step in the right direction. Maybe they can start with a Constitution and control the corrupt politicians that try to tear it down for personal gain better than we did.
Hunter Biden used that Ukraine corruption to great advantage back in 2015 and just asking about it got President Trump impeached. Surely all of this ties into the big picture. To me, that makes a lot of sense, a lot more than a stupid war.
Europeans and Asians have fought amongst themselves not just for centuries, but for millennia. Anyone who thinks a solution exists to end these conflicts is a fool. We should be wise not to become entangled with their disputes.

Jim: Yes, this is one of several international complex matters. What we need more of is Critically Thinkering citizens and politicians.

Jack: In theory yes, but that is much easier said than done...
