I would like to know if you have any hard facts about adult age groups that do embrace the use of critical thinking and the adult age groups that do not? I know what I see and hear from people I know from adults 25 up through 75, but by comparison it is probably a small sample to make an educated guess.
A nurse practitioner prescribed Paxlovid for me. I asked her if there was anything less noxious...like a napalm smoothie. She wasn't amused. The prescription is still sitting on the pharmacy shelf at the grocery store.
It has served me well in life and my career. I have been in charge of some of large construction projects in the NJ/NY area before I retired! (Starting with a shovel digging ditches). As demanding as those projects were “Critical Thinking “ applied to engineering, architectural, contractural problems allowed me to be successful! I have profound respect for your analysis of the subjects/issues!
You’ve enlightened me on so many item now, i can add Paxlovid to to the list. I am a “Critical Thinker “ per my parents upbringing and my High School and college education in the 70’s(top notch non Ivy League Schools) where my teaches taught “Critical Thinking.” I’m an active 69 year old( gym and hiking) eat right and take some vitamin supplements for my age( if you haven’t already wish you would do an exposé on the vitamin industry. I could add some interesting comments. Recently, had a month bout with COVID and let my immune system take it over. Note : I didn’t stop my usual activities, gym, hike playing guitars! So much misinformation on the subject it is refreshing to have someone sort out fact from fiction!
Thanks for all that you do, for all of us.
Bill: I appreciate the support.

Tama: Not sure what you would like for Hard Facts. It might help if you read my prior commentary about Critical Thinking, where I identified 20 major advantages — and I provided a citation for each <https://criticallythinking.substack.com/p/critical-thinking-is-the-answer>.
Have you not read of the "practice" for the "pandemic" John Hopkins was right there.

Eric: I think you should get a nurse with a better sense of humor.
I could tell she was going to be a real turd. My regular unwoke Doc was unavailable at the time. He would have chuckled.
You meant to say a real pain, right?

Mark:
Thank you for the appreciation. Glad you are a Critical Thinker. I'm sure you're doing that as it has proven time-and-again to be a powerful tool.
John,
The fact the FDA lifted Paxlovid’s EUA 3/8/24 says it all about your excellent truth surveillance. Nice work.
Jack
John: Thank you for your support. What about the "You Da Man" part you emailed me?
It disappeared. Could you send it back to me?
