Belichick played football and lacrosse in high school and college. He's been a coach since then. Maybe having ice-cold Gatorade poured over your cranium hundreds of times has some cumulative effect that doesn't show up for many years. Regardless, I understand that many men envy him, which verifies my favorite Frank Zappa saying: "I'm glad I'm not a woman, but there are times when I'm ashamed to be a man." John Rosemond
I love this one. Older women has always been the way for me. She is simply free of the fetters and confusions of her 20s. Beauty and joy through simplicity. A problem persists, though, when the wife (I've been married 40 years...she turns out to be my best friend...it's complicated and people change as they get older) when the woman discovers she has no interest in carnal conversation. As a writer friend of mine (Steve is a playwright) said, "Women my age look like my grandmother." He, an artist, is, as you surely understand, forever young, as I am, and we all age physically. One doesn't have to lose youth when gaining experience and knowledge. Ben's advice is precious and timeless; I'm keeping it.
I heard quips that might have been directly from Franklin or were paraphrased by others from the letter reviewed in this excellent article:
1. All women are grey in the dark.
2. They don't swell, they don't tell, and they're glad as hell.
VS: I never heard that all women are gray in the dark — and don't believe it!
Saw Frank and the MOIs open for Cream in 1968. I could make neither heads nor tails of his music.
I went to the Newport Jazz festival a few times in the mid 60's. It was interesting.

John: Ty for reminding us of the wisdom of Frank Zappa.

Paul: TY for your perspective...
Critically thinking about Bill Belichick, he has taken too many hits to his head, obviously.
John: Maybe, but football coaches usually don't take many hits to the head...
