Imagine calling SEL learning a TOTAL REPLACEMENT of our previous educational system, and then saying that's a rational position. Saying that when it's literally just a supplement children get in public schools to fight against parents teaching no/poor values to them. But no, that would mean we have to call some 'Good Ol' Christian Parents' BAD!

Wild position.

Single parent learners confront public school teachers with the unmotivated. Justifying budgets by graduation rates means testing feeling instead of thinking. SEL = Semi Educated Learners

OK, I did. We live in complicated times, and it's hard to explain rampant stupidity. Your options are certainly possible. I'd add that few of those peoploe have been taught to think critically — so they follow the crowd.

The Committee for Children started out modestly enough in 1979 with the goal of addressing the needs of child-aged victims of sexual abuse. Why is it that a surprising number of 501C(3)s morph into these collectivism conglomerates that simply service the needs of Totalitarianism? Social-Emotional Learning is nothing more that a tool to create a humanity of fools--children an their parents. Fools are easier to rule. Manipulating words is foundational in their efforts. Who could dislike an organization with a name like "Committee for Children"?

Home is the place for social and emotional learning, preferably beginning at a very early age.

School is the place for math, science, language, history and civics learning, preferably in an appropriately challenging environment for all. That means continually challenging the "best and brightest".

Unfortunately, educators apparently have concluded that math and science are racist, as is grouping students by capability and motivation.

Excellent article. You're familiar with Yuri Bezmenov, John? He went around warning everyone about this decades ago and it seems to have made little difference. Also, if you haven't seen the following it is worth your time: https://youtu.be/SByy_qikgpQ

TY. No I am not familiar with Bezmenov. I also have not see the video you referenced.

OK, I had seen that, but had forgotten his name.

TY for the reminder, and I watched it again. It is still prophetic.

In the same vein I also like Grinding America Down <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ty7ct9JdqiI>.

I hadn't seen that, thank you for sharing. I've added it to my bitchute channel to spread it around. The most disturbing part of that was the fact that the meetings were attended by older gentlemen.

Yes. IMO almost everything about that short trailer is disturbing.
