If they can afford to do otherwise, it would seem charter. private schools or home schooling would be top choice. for parents. My brother lives in rural Maine and swears his two boys are being educated "to code" by the rural school system they attend. He approves of what's going on there, "no hanky panky", in his words. I do think rural schools tend to be far more anchored in old school ways, old school ethics, values and common sense. On another note, what prevents the next administration from turning the DOE back into an unending drag queen story hour? It's tough growing up and going through puberty. These are the toughest years of all. What we're doing to our children with this bombardment of sexual chaos, climate change end of the world scenarios and anti-American "history" lessons is inhumane.

SM: I'm sure that your brother is well-intentioned, but when progressive educators tell him that his kids are being educated "to code," they are NOT mentioning that the authors of the "code" are Marxists. I gave several examples in my commentary above.

For example, the State of Maine has officially adopted the NGSS as the Science standards for ALL K-12 Maine children. As a lifelong scientists I can assure you that it is horiffically bad. If he wants to see the details, read this <https://c19science.info/Education/Fixing_Education.pdf>. If he is serious about this I'd be glad to discuss it with him on the phone.

I have not finished reading the detailed contents of your analysis. But I think you may have missed a huge background story about the evil influence of the Department of Education.

Why suddenly are the local school districts full of evil teachers whose main focus is to indoctrinate children with horrific ideologies? It has a lot to do with the secret federal grants from the DOE to the district superintendents, schoolmasters and teachers. The first huge money wave was released from the COVID funding granted by the Congress. The amount was so huge that the DOE cannot used it all at the end of 2024.

The grants are completely clandestine for the takers who enthusiastically embrace the Biden administration’s evil agenda. But some brave patriots in Tennessee has revealed the secret fact, yet nobody in the media follow up with investigations.

Yang: You have bought into a Marxist tactic — to demonize the DOEd. Their objective is to get rid of DOEd and give more power and money to State education departments — which they almost entirely control. Right now they have zero control over DOEd which petrifies them.

As a national expert in K-12 education, I give you an unequivocal answer: at LEAST 95% of the K-12 issues we have today, are caused by the States. In other words, DOEd is responsible for less that 5%.

You have some first hand knowledge I won't dispute. But you need to address the following:

(1) The secret Federal grants that lure the local school districts (from superintendents down to the schoolmasters and teachers) to embrace the woke ideologies, from sexualizations of young children to the indoctrination using the "critical race theory". In a way the crimes are done locally for sure (the Federal government does not run any public schools), but the evil monetary incentives are coming from the DOE.

(2) What has the DOE done for bettering the public education since Jimmy Carter established the federal agency around 1979? I am talking about itemized, concrete achievements. Not your opinionated handwaving. As a national expert in K-12 education, you can show a dozen of the great achievements by the DOE and prove me wrong. I eagerly wait for your answers.

I know you believe you are right :-), so I suggest you to start a campaign for the EPA to expand its budget to 1 trillion dollars so that the US will become a paradise made possible by the great guys at the EPA.

Haven't we had enough of the Deep State criminals running the Federal agencies?

The facts are not on your side: the quality of American public education has been sinking deeper and deeper into a hole. Not only in mathematics and sciences, but in English (writing, language and literature), history and geography. American high school graduates used to rank at the top before the establishment of the DOE. What about now? You are an expert, please tell me how you rank the American K-12 in recent years.

Yang: If you can document secret federal grants, please do so.

No one is disputing that the DOEd has been terrible to date. We have the opportunity to FIX all that, right now. It is dumb to not only pass up that opportunity, but to hand over more power and money to the States — WHICH ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR 95% OF THE K-12 ISSUES WE HAVE!

I don't have any confidence that we can fix any federal agencies. But I would definitely support your efforts in doing so.

Education has been kidnapped and destroyed to a large extent by the "education professionals" with the doctoral degrees in education from the universities or the former teacher's colleges. The only solution for the United States is to close the Departments of Education (as a major) in universities and colleges because they have invented too many failed theories that have destroyed the education qualities of this nation. We just need competent mathematics graduates to teach math, not mediocre education majors with a few math courses to decorate their transcripts. The same can be said for practically all areas.

Above is the idea I learned from Dr. Thomas Sowell many years ago. His insight and solution have been proved to be right on the mark.

Many times parents don't know what their children are being taught. Either don't really care or have trouble finding out what's being taught.

Donald: Yes that can be true. One way to find out (for those who care) is to carefully look at their children's different textbooks.

Many of the parents are too focused on their jobs and collecting material items. That in itself demonstrates that kids take the backseat. There are a lot more families that could choose to live single income, but they don't want to give up the elevated lifestyle. Parents are at work instead of fighting for their children.

I believe that the root cause is lack of real faith and trust in God. The churches are watered down. Rather than understanding that God will provide, they rely on their employers and the paychecks. Money has become a dangerous idol.

Unfortunately, we were already aware that very few people are willing to put forth the effort it takes to make necessary changes whether it is schools or government. The faithless community in NY was wallowing in distraction and apathy and many parents are already indoctrinated.

This led to major research into schools in other states and we settled in the heart of Amish country Ohio. The public school I have my boys in is practically a private Christian school. Some Amish and Mennonites send their kids through 6th grade. Teachers realize it is more important to steer kids towards morals and Christ than their paycheck. This circles back to faith in God's provision. When my youngest son was in 6th grade and we just moved here, he was struggling during recess and his teacher gave him a devotional without fear of discipline from the school. Our school and all of the neighboring public schools also have religious ed programs with nearly 100% participation rates and can't keep up with the demand for more expansion. I have been blessed to witness the clear difference in how a society operates under the full truth of Biblical standards versus half truths or a void of God all together.

While the media pours this indoctrination down our throats and makes this nonsense the focus, I do believe that there is a Christian movement that the media doesn't want anyone to know about. Our school district is growing every year. Schools are supposed to honor the separation of church and state, so it isn't going to be publicized, but if you are willing to do your research, you know where you can send your kids for a traditional education with a school board and staff that are going to quietly discard the indoctrination.

Among other signs that God is at work, we have a nephew in NY that is in his 40's and never went to church. Now that he has kids, he is going to church and he is being careful about where. There is a small business in NY that leaves free Bibles on the counter. For decades, they didn't go through very many but Covid hit and they went through a lot more free Bibles. We go to a very conservative church and we are talking about expanding the already large building because we are growing and the youth program is busting at the seams. I am aware that a much more liberal church and pastor in town is struggling to keep people in the pews.

I do think there is a movement back to conservative Christianity and that people are recognizing that picking and choosing what they like or don't like from the Bible isn't working. But we aren't going to hear about it unless it is word of mouth. God is at work and He is patient. Of that I am sure.

Bob: Indeed it has become very problematic. The reason is very simple — it's because we have ALLOWED this to happen. For example, there is no major Conservative group (e.g.Heritage, AEI, etc.) that is paying attention to the corrupted curricula. Parents can not fight this individual, they need organized support. On the Left there are several organizations who are working together...

Since masculine influences for young children and students has been systematically driven out of family and education in this hyper-Feminized insane-accepting society the less time our children are near pedo-grooming women predators and devouring mothers the less chance of significant harm they will likely suffer.

Generally, there something very sick about today's children educators and administrators and a significant sign of this is the active toxic anti-man environments that schools have become and it is reasonable to argue that since men protect and do not allow psychotic women to mind-rape or sexually abuse children they were driven away under threat of Witch-Whisper-Web false-accusations and reputational damage.

Devouring Mothers, Teachers, and society has significantly damaged our once sane, virtuous, caring trust society and generations of children. And it is long past time to actively stand against such Witch minions of Satan 5th column that poisons and destroys families, employment spaces, professions, gov, truth, justice, good-order, prudence, Charity, .. because it is clear that womanhood is unable to correct themselves and men that have tried have been crushed by the State and psyche-vicious mobs of screeching lying delusional femNazis and man-hating disHonorable insane baby-killing false-accusing women.

Besides a 'black swan' event like God sending us a Real pandemic that kills women at menopause and so we saved from the extra 40 years of hate-filled poison that Sickens children and young adults and public spaces, work-places, and schools, and Love-Joy-Life-Hope-sanity may start to return, .. besides something like that the next best thing is to reduce children's risk of contact.

A 150+ years ago a student would get a decent education by 8th grade and so I used AI to report what a K-12 education should provide and condensed it down to K-8th and with men teachers and the few women able to focus and stop fingering their poo, it is doable and if any students have trouble they moved to a Trades School because unlike the psychotic Feminized insane professionals willing to harm every other student because one has trouble the rule will be that the troubled student is moved along and away.

.. What a sick society the hyper-empowered retarded feelie womanhood has made!

K-12 can and should be reduced to K-8th by using Men teachers that aren't mind-raping Witch minions. Trades or university and employed by 18 years old and married with start of family by 20, not castrated mind-raped infantile breast-feeding [adult] children at 30, like we have today.

You understand what 'Devouring Mother' is?

We have Feminized this level of hell, and so now we suffer 'Devouring Society'.

When I'm Pope-King of world, God willing, we all will Exorcise the devouring fatherhood childhood Satanic mind-soul crippling mothers and devouring retarding mind-raping societies demon-possessed from any power positions. If you can't work and think like a man then Get away from working men and our excellent systems, we have suffered your poison-vomit far too long.

In this article below I argue that generations of child psychological damage has caused world-wide insanity-accepting intellectual, judgement, prudence and other mental harms. I use both Catholic Theology teaching supported by modern psychological science.

Entire HS basic subjects and critical-thinking fit in k-8th grade because men teachers will not be psychologically abusing and crippling them, the students will have the best opportunity to have a successful adult life and healthy family or best service to God and Man, to truth, to Justice, to Right-Order, to Prudence, to honor, to ...

Latin and perhaps Greek learned world-wide by every educated person so they have access to older original records, and international Univeral communications.

End of 8th grade will have tests and the top 15% will enter University if desired, and rest to trades so the men may be fully employed by 20 years-old and start a family with 16 yo woman or older. No more Sick mind-raping putrid endless forced childhood.

Men and fathers will return to right-ordered duties, and women will stop destroying Love, Life, Joy, Hope, .. and be more valuable than the 2-week old putrid poison most have become. You are not children, and you will suffer or celebrate from your choices.

School and trades all sex-segregated. Dress-code and women will be expected to work and learn as hard as men, no tits-out disOrdering use and abuse of sexuality. Shut-the-F-up and get to work or leave.

Sounds better?

Steve: Certainly part of what you say is accurate. On the other hand, how about the bigger picture? Our K-12 education system is not only anti-men, but anti-white, anti-Christian, anti-American, etc. etc. This is what is the expected result when the Right abandons the K-12 curricula to the Left.

Yes, but after suffering entire professional career dealing with endless destructive influences from meritless abusive psychologically damaged Affirmative Action Quota co-workers I understand the coordinated Synagogue-of-Satan minions directing women that will false-accuse and unJustly destroy reputations and livelihood of those that stand against the evil sickness that has and is poisoning us all.

It's like being divorce-raped, the family courts and others involved have a script that is designed so the father losses home, children, and suffers as much torture he can to see his children even the few hours a week, and she is supported fully by the courts.

We can not 'vote harder' to fix these soul-crippling wreacking-systems. Prayer and-or vote the way the armed forces do, seems only options because while a judge still breaths and police still exist Justice is not possible.

Of course, before I moved to this witch-filled area in Vermont for University I studied, worked, socialized beside men and women and loved a few in two different States and a few regions in both and never had problems. I think I died around 1984 and went to some level of Hell. It took me so long to realized I was being targeted because I had never known such pure evil wrapped in women's skins. They turned a dream job as a basic medical science researcher into a hellish toxic workplace.

If I had not had years of good interactions with women before I moved here I would have decided most are poison-vomit sacks of puss. Today I argue for sex-segregation until women can work like men .. to shut-up and get to work like most of us do.

Besides being a white Christian-raised man that worked hard and was productive I still can not understand why I was so targeted and luckily I'm retired because each time I hear of a school, work-place, or public shooting I hope no innocents were hurt and wonder if he killed the Witch and some of her minions - so at least the men working there will be safe from them.

Are we talking about indigent children, handicapped children, single parent children, welfare children, working class children, middle class children, immigrant children, transient families and their children, children with parents with a high school diploma, children with parents with college degrees, children with parents with advanced degrees, not to mention differences in mental capacity of every child. And what of the strength of the family's religious beliefs or not? One size seldom fits all without a great deal of pinching and a shoe horn.

Public Schools? Ought we not to first to define what is a public school, what purpose they serve, and who decides that purpose? Perhaps these threshold questions ought to be examined and answered in depth before one decides how or by whom these purposes will be advanced.
