Help Please

United We Stand, Divided We Fall

If you look through my archives, you’ll find an unusual breadth of interesting topics covered here. It may not be apparent, but every commentary requires research — some quite a bit. I do have a life otherwise, including being the primary caregiver for my very sick wife. That said, we both believe that our Country is in great peril, and that our best hopes for fixing it are 1) God and 2) informed, active citizens.

Spoiler alert: I’m NOT asking for money! I’ve received well over a hundred requests to pay $80/year for a subscription — but I have declined all such generous offers. My intention is to educate citizens, not to make a profit.

If you share my concerns, there are three ways that you can help…

1) Something everyone can do: Inform your friends and associates of my substack. We have thousands of subscribers, but we need thousands more to make a societal difference. Last week a single supportive tweet resulted in 150+ new readers. Please take five minutes to send an email, tweet, FB, or other social media plug. (Note use this link when doing so: https://criticallythinking.substack.com/archive. ) This shouldn’t be a hard sell as out of thousands of Substack authors, none cover the breadth and depth of important societal topics that I do.

2) Something else everyone can do: Pray for our country. We are in dire straits and uncharted waters. One of my main life mottos is: “Pray as if everything depended on God, but work as if everything depended on me.”

3) Something for a few angels: Donate your time and talent. I am typically involved with several interesting projects at once, ranging from education to election integrity. Having constructive assistance from some competent allies can make a big difference in doing a much better job with important projects.

For example, right now I need assistance doing some Internet research — probably eight hours would do it. This research is about putting together a unique email list. If done right this could have a profound effect on fixing K-12 education in the US!
