The rapidity with which the Demos have coalesced to support Harris is very concerning. Can one believe $84 million in one day raised by her campaign? The real test will come if a fair debate is held between the two, if indeed she is the nominee. If I were a Demo strategist I would find that prospect very daunting given her tendency to word salads, to say nothing of what happened when the Biden/Trump debate debacle went down. I share Paul's concerns. The only things the Demos are good at are spending other people's money and stealing elections. Give the Devil his (her) due.

Don’t underestimate the ability of the Democrat Party to re-package Kamala as something acceptable to gullible, Trump-hating voters and special interest groups. Also, plan on the media to run cover for her the way they did so long for Biden. Combine those factors with the Democrat propensity to cheat and what should be a runaway victory for Trump could turn into a replay of 2020.

Paul: We have exposed enough of what happened in 2020, so HOPE there is not a repeat...

What’s to stop them from trying it again? We may have exposed it, but the media, even Fox, persists in denying the election was stolen. Who are the real election deniers?

Paul: A lot of good has happened re election integrity since 2020. As you know, there is definately more that needs to be done. My hope is that there has been enough progress to avoid another such catastrophe.

John, I hope you’re right. Some states have made improvements to the election laws; some haven’t. Not sure what happened in the battleground states like Michigan and Wisconsin. Perhaps the RNC has a plan to better oversee the election.

Kamala ... the descriptive analogy I have of her, from hearing her desperate word salad efforts to appear Vice Presidential, is like something you'd hear from the newest top person at a company formed back in the early 1950s by a hugely powerful person which then had successive transfers of father to son and grandson; now the family-led heritage has devolved down to a slacker nephew having zero corporate experience, but is delusional enough to think if he talks big, people won't spot the charade: "I thank you all for your leadership in leading this great company to continue putting its important product in the hands of our customers who can and must have great products to lead because great products are important to our customers who are leaders in their own right who not only strive to hold and cherish great products but also want the continued productivity that our products deliver in their hands which enable them to have the leadership they need, products you make right here with your own hands knowing how our customers cherish and use your great products ......."

While down in the audience, all of the employees are looking with bewilderment at each other, "What on Earth is she talking about?? We are a health care advisory service. We don't manufacture anything!"

Back in the 1980s, I tried briefly pursuing it. More recently, my climate issue critics have said I phrase things lousily. They might be right. But they don't actually dispute the assertions I make.

Quote of the Week: (taken from Washington Examiner)

"They taught us that they could do anything and should never be burdened by the limitations of other people to be able or not be able to see what can be...understands and can see what is possible unburdened by what has been." Vice President Kamal Harris in Greensboro, North Caroline on July 11.

This sort of sums her up.

SM: Evidently when she said "they could do anything" her talk fell into that category.

unburdened indeed....

In my not so humble opinion the only reason Biden dropped out is that Pelosi and Obama realized the November campaign money was not going to be there from large donors if Biden remained. His protestations came to an end when P and O told him in no uncertain terms he was going out the easy way (exit now with some shred of dignity) or the hard way (25th amendment hearings).
