Toleration of perverts is a cowardly poisonous lazy habit that rots society.

DD: We have gone WAY beyond toleration. How about them being voted to represent millions of people in the US Senate?

Could the fact that mental competence is no longer required for high school graduation, or entrance to college or university or entering any professional employment including government jobs be a contributing factor in the increase in mental illness and partisan violence?

John Droz's avatar

Henry: IMO there is a 100% causation...

And the next step?

Henry: It will get worse until the deplorable K-12 situation is officially acknowledged as being catastrophic, and then they start making real changes.

To "the devil made me do it," if you add "society made me do it" and "poverty made me do it" and "white supremacy made me do it" and "homophobia made me do ot" and "racism made me do it" and "Islamophobia made me do it" and "Trump made me do it," the Democrat playbook begins to come into focus.

Van: You forgot "my wife made me do it."

Thanks for your Critically Thinking information regarding Graham Platner. I recognized the name, but knew nothing about him. In regard to the acceleration of the population with mental problems....few consider the damage that drugs, vaccines, innocent food items, alcohol, tobacco are doing to the brain. It is amazing that there are still people in our country that have the ability to think. All the items I mentioned contribute to damaging the brain and its ability to think clearly.

Barbara: Yes.

Platner is definitely "a jerk" and an embarrassment to most Mainers. I can't speak for those who actually voted for him because it's beyond my comprehension. I do feel very sorry for his wife.

Nadia: TY for the perspective of a Maine resident who is politically astute.
