I would suggest ballots and all election documents be kept at the very least for 5 years, at a minimum, AFTER the completion of the NEXT election cycle. This prevents lawfare nonsense that has been going on since 2016. Working in the private-public arena (which must abide by GAAP as well), we are mandated to keep certain records for 7 years and others for 99 years! Computerization of paper documents makes this an easy thing to do.

While the accounting of after the fact results, if all states adopted, might be compelling, the issue has to do with the timing associated with valid reporting so as not run afoul of statutes to certify. The best thing still is to eliminate election fraud risk practices that account for ballot anomalies such as: unmaintained voter rolls which lead to millions of illegitimate ballots mailed, which then are harvested and mailed or dropped off in unmonitored bins to be counted by pre-programmed machines with no transparency and result in fraudulent counts. Let's advocate return to one person one vote with ID on a single election day.

Anthony: I am totally for one person, one vote, etc. but that will not prevent what I am showing here has happened.

Another great effort. This should be rushed thru the 'approval' process and become law.

It is comforting and reassuring that the drive-by media is finally seeing the light and starting to 'get the message'. Or could it be they can no longer look the other way and ignore totally the growng mountain of evidence with a clear conscience?

W: Agreed. Not sure which is getting the election integroty message!

I like your thinking!

The most famous politician credited with saying "all politics are local" is Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States.

If one were to stop and think about a presidential election, there are only two positions that are truly elected "nation wide", President and Vice-President.

ALL other positions, be they Senate, or Congress, or dog-catcher, represent "local constituents" and their election is decided by voters at the state, or county, or city level.

Yes, we have an "Electoral College" but their ballots are only cast for President and Vice-President.

It certainly is "WAY overdue" for the Federal government (i.e. Congress) to issue voting and reporting guidelines/standards, for the states to follow regarding the election of the only two positions that are truly "national".

Thank you. Good point about politics being local.

Excellent proposal that is indeed way overdue, along with ALL states being mandated to clean up their voter rolls to eliminate mail in ballot fraud prior to 2024.

Penny: Yes,the resistence against cleaning up state voter rolls is one of several other actions that defies credulity.

I fear we are running out of time to re-establish election integrity.

Ed: we definately are running out of time. That said, this bill could have major impact with minimal time and effort writing and passing it...

The Constitution gives Congress the final word on federal elections, which are specified to occur on 'election day,' meaning the election must be completed in one day; any election which cannot declare a winner by midnight is legally a failed election, and must be redone. The purpose of the federal government was and still is to maintain a level playing field amongst the several states, so while states may tinker with local election procedures, federal law still requires the election to be complete on election day. Why is no one enforcing federal law? Has the US corporation presumed that their coup is complete, and they can now be completely lawless?

The proposal and the article are great stuff. Thank you so much.

I have one sad comment regarding the election process. The systemic corruptions of the United States of America are beyond repair. The Justice Department and law enforcement agencies have been thoroughly “captured”. In a way the United States is even worse than Communist China: criminals are going around towns as if they are the warlords of the land, whereas innocent citizens are not even allowed to complain about the facts. January 6 provides the best proofs.

So the massive frauds in the 2020 election only accurately reflect the state of the Deep State which controls and suffocates the law abiding citizens. It’s too late to expect we will turn it around by legislations or other democratic means.

The upcoming 2024 election will finish abruptly the United States to her core, because the Democrats will soon impose on us the tyranny envisaged by the American Communist Party, aka the Democratic Party.

I do hope I am wrong. Of course.

Yang: I can sympathize with your prediction. However, I remain an optimistic person, and will continue to float reasonable ideas that can severaly limit the corruption.

I truly appreciate your wise and gallant service to patriots of our nation.

I shared your election reports and analysis with a close friend in Pennsylvania where I lived for many years (I have moved to New Hampshire since 2002). We know blatant frauds were the only reason that Joe Biden won in PA. But the law enforcement agencies and courts are captured by the Deep State, so the criminals are Scot-free and taunting us in our face. The nation will NOT be turned around unless those criminals, especially the masterminds will be prosecuted and sent to jail.
